Representation in Mediation

Mediation is a flexible and confidential process aimed at resolving disputes through mutual agreement between the parties. While personal participation of the parties is generally preferred in mediation, in certain situations, parties may attend the sessions through a representative.

For a representative to participate in mediation, the authority to represent must be clearly stated and provided in written form. This authority can be granted to an attorney, legal proxy, or an authorized company representative. The representative may conduct negotiations on behalf of the party, evaluate proposals, and sign a settlement agreement if a consensus is reached.

At Armağan Özmen Law & Consultancy Office, we provide comprehensive legal support to our clients throughout the mediation process, whether they participate personally or through a representative. Our priority is to ensure our clients’ rights are fully protected and their interests are represented in the most effective manner.
